Spring is in the air at Tipton County Public Library

Tipton County Public Library (TCPL) invites the community to discover its outstanding programming and events in March, April, and May.

  • Adults looking for a group of like-minded writers are invited to join the adult writing group. Writing Like You are Writing Out of Time Writer’s Group meets at the main library monthly on the second Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
  • LEGO Club invites kids of all ages to get creative and build something one-of-a-kind. This event is offered at both library locations the fourth Monday and Tuesday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Gaming and Art Classes for Teens: Teen Gaming takes place on the first Thursday of each month, and Teen Art takes place on the third Tuesday. Teen programs begin at 3:30 p.m. in the Creation Station.
  • Join TCPL on the Road at the Kempton Community Center from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 19. Patrons can check out a variety of new releases in the library’s collection, sign up for a library card, and/or find out about library services and online resources.
  • TCPL will celebrate National Library Week April 6 to 12. This year’s theme, Drawn to the Library, celebrate how the library is used in different ways and for various purposes: research, study, exploration, entertainment, connection, and growth. Check out the incredible library resources, including TCPL’s newest addition, the Library of Things.

The Tipton branch is located at 127 E. Madison St., and the Windfall branch is at 104 McClennan St.
