Last Thursday, Hamilton County Parks & Recreation welcomed families for the annual Little Haunt on the Prairie at Ghoul Creek Park. The window in between the light rain showers allowed families and little ones to enjoy a variety of fun fall activities, both entertaining and educational. More than 900 guests attended. There were snakes in the Cool Creek Park Nature Center auditorium and birds of prey in the greenhouse. There was a Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man inflatable looming over the Circle City Ghostbusters and their tricked-out vehicle, as well as the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus wandering around. Non-stop wagon rides, visual displays, loads of tasty eats and sweets, fire eating and bed of nails presentations, a DJ, rock wall climbing, a photo booth, balloon animals, and face painting were some of the features that were present at the event.
