Southeastern wins HCC girls track meet

The Hamilton Southeastern girls track and field team triumphed at the Hoosier Crossroads Conference meet, which took place Tuesday at Fishers.

The Royals scored 109 points, comfortably ahead of runner-up Zionsville’s 83 points. Southeastern won five individual events, including a triple victory for Anissa Lammie. She was part of HSE’s first-place 4×800 relay team, joining Elizabeth Butler, Anaya Lammie and Ciara Kepner, then went on to win the 400 dash. Anissa Lammie finished the meet by teaming with Addison Smith, Chloe Senefeld and Kepner to win the 4×400 relay; this made Kepner a double winner. Elia Blackmore swept the 100 and 300 hurdles events.

Noblesville got a win from Brinkley Cooper in the 800 run. Fishers picked up two field event victories: Macey Miller in the shot put and Scarlett Olson in the pole vault. Westfield’s Alivia Lozier won the 3200 run.
