Hamilton Southeastern’s girls team dropped a tough game Thursday at Warren Central, 52-44.
The Warriors led 16-11 after one quarter and 30-18 at halftime. Southeastern made a comeback in the third quarter, cutting Warren’s lead to 40-35, but the Warriors were able to hold on in the fourth period.
Riley Makalusky scored 20 points, while Maya Makalusky had 13 points, including three 3-pointers. Olivia Brown led the rebounds with eight and also handed out five assists. Kennedy Holman collected seven rebounds while Teegan Acres pulled five.
The Royals are 15-2 and host Ben Davis on Tuesday.
