Hamilton Southeastern overwhelmed its two opponents in home games on Saturday.
The Royals, ranked No. 5 in the IBCA one-class poll and No. 6 in the ICGSA Class 4A rankings, first beat Elkhart 81-41. Four Southeastern players reached double digits in scoring: Riley Makalusky had 26 points, Lauren Stewart made three 3-pointers on her way to 13 points, Kennedy Holman added 12 and Maya Makalusky had 10.
Teegan Acres pulled six rebounds, while Maya Makalusky collected five. Acres dished out five assists, while Kennedy Holman and Olivia Brown both handed out five assists. Kayla Stidham made two blocked shots.
The Royals had even bigger numbers in their second game, cruising past Columbus East 94-42. Maya Makalusky led the scoring this time with 28 points, while Riley Makalusky contributed 19 points. Stewart scored 13 and Acres had 11.
Brown had an outstanding game, with 14 assists, nine rebounds, five steals and two blocks. Makalusky drained five 3-pointers, while Stewart threw in three triples.
Southeastern is 4-0 and plays Tuesday at Center Grove.
