In an all-county boys soccer match on Saturday, Hamilton Southeastern defeated Carmel 2-0.
Matt Kuster got the Royals’ first goal of the game on a first touch goal. Darian Ghaffari scored the second goal, off an beautiful from Tyler White with just over one second left in the first half. Those two goals would be enough as Ben Haxton came up with two saves and stout defense from Jimmy Maulucci, Ethan Pulliam, and Bryce Wetzel, and the rest of the back line.
The University boys soccer team beat Lutheran 6-0 on Saturday.
The Trailblazers had six different goal scorers. Coghlin Kumler was the player of the match with a goal and two assists.
University’s girls team fell to Pendleton Heights 6-1 on Saturday morning.
The Trailblazers got their goal in the first minute of the game, with junior Lily Snyder scoring off an assist by junior Halle Von Ah. The Arabians tied the game up in the waning minutes of the first half, then put in five goals in the second half.
Sophomore goalkeeper Lilly Fair had 10 saves.
Noblesville’s girls team beat West Lafayette 4-0 on Saturday.
