Grand opening with Lobster Roll Giveaway planned for Feb. 18
Fast-casual seafood will make a splash at the Fishers District as Slapfish Indiana opens on Saturday, Feb. 18.
The first 100 customers on opening day will receive a free lobster roll (one lobster roll per customer). There will also be live music and other free family-friendly entertainment from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 11547 Yard St., Suite 820, Fishers.
The new Fishers location is the third Slapfish restaurant opened in Indiana by local restaurateurs Mark and Lauren Weghorst. Slapfish is known for its healthy, innovative seafood dishes. Menu items include oysters, lobster rolls, power bowls, seafood tower and seared ahi tuna bowl. Slapfish offers a kid-friendly menu and a special brunch menu during the weekends.
Slapfish Fishers will serve a full cocktail menu with domestic and locally crafted beer, liquor, spirits, and wine.
After the grand opening event on Saturday, Feb. 18, Peace Water Winery will provide complimentary samples and information about the monthly wine club from 6 to 8 p.m. Peace Water Winery’s Fishers location is right next door to Slapfish Fishers.
Slapfish Fishers will offer fast-casual options for lunch (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and then provide full-service dining for dinner guests (4 to 9 p.m). Slapfish Fishers will be open seven days a week with live music performances during some evenings and weekends.
The first Midwest Slapfish location opened in Noblesville in 2019. A second Indiana location in downtown Indianapolis opened on Mass Ave in 2020. Slapfish Indiana is also debuting an online catering menu through EZCater this month, which will be available at all Indiana locations.

The OneZone Chamber of Commerce will host a ceremonial ribbon cutting on Thursday, February 16.
