Phi Beta Psi will hold the fifth annual Breakfast with Santa from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, and again from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Red Bridge Park Community Building, 697 W. Jackson St., Cicero. The cost to attend is $5.

According to Phi Beta Psi Treasurer and Breakfast with Santa Chairperson Chris Crouch, the majority of funds from this and other events go to cancer research.

“We also help out in the community,” Crouch said. “We help the school nurses by buying supplies for them. If a family has a fire, we will donate to that. In the past we have bought shoes and glasses for children who need them and cannot afford them. But the majority of our money goes directly to cancer research.”

The menu includes French Toast sticks, smoky links, fruit and juice for the kids, and coffee and banana bread for the adults.

“We have two ladies that help with crafts for children to make and a lady who does storytelling,” Crouch said. “We have quite a bit going on for $5!”

The cost is $5 per person, which can be paid at the door. Crouch asks that anyone planning to attend please call her at (317) 796-8672 to reserve your spot. This helps Phi Beta Psi plan ahead and ensure all the kids get crafting opportunities and a little time with the jolly old elf himself.
