Shirley Ann (Rich) Foltz, 87, Fishersburg, passed away August 18, 2017, at Community North Hospital, in Indianapolis following a brief illness.
She was born on August 25, 1929, in Fishersburg, Ind. to Shirley Vane Rich and Alta Aileen (Miller) Rich.
Shirley was graduated from Lapel High School Class of 1947 and enjoyed her annual luncheons with her classmates. She attended Fishersburg Wesleyan and Ford Street Church for many years and was an avid sports fan, especially listening to sports talk radio. She enjoyed the last eight months making new friends at Westminster Village in Indianapolis.
She retired from Macy’s in Concord, Calif., having previously worked for Wasson’s in Anderson.
Shirley is survived by a daughter, Colleen (husband, John) MacPherson, of Indianapolis and son, Kim Noblitt, of Walnut Creek, Calif.; step-son Glenn Foltz, of Pleasant Hill, Calif.; nephew Kyle (Beth) Rich, Carmel and great nephew, Alex Rich.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, one infant son, John Robert Noblitt, her husband, Robert Foltz and one brother, Douglas F. Rich.
A graveside service will be held at noon on Monday, August 21, 2017, at Brookside Cemetery, 2900 Brookside Road, Lapel, IN, with Rev. Justin Fisher officiating.
