Sherry Murray, 71, Carmel, was born in Warsaw, Ind., on January 25, 1947, daughter of Mott and Mildred Johnson Bryan. She was raised in Mentone, Ind., where she was a 1965 graduate of Mentone High School.
Sherry was a member of the Carmel United Methodist Church and current member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Carmel.
In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen and brother, James.
Survivors include her husband, Steve; daughters, Stephanie (Dean) and Stacey (Bill); five grandchildren and sister, Jennie.
Family and friends will gather from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7 and from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, where the Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11 a.m.
The family requests donations, in memory of Sherry, be given to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church-Missions Fund or donor’s favorite charity.
