On Monday, Hamilton Heights School Resource Officer Deputy Josh Ireland invited several female law enforcement officers from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office to come and speak with the fourth-grade class during their lunch period. Captain Kija Ireland, Corrections Officer Rachel Baldwin, and Deputy Lydia Fairchok introduced themselves to the class, gave short biographies of themselves, and went into the crowd and spoke with students at their tables, answering any questions they had. They were a great bunch of kids. The Sheriff’s Office thanks Hamilton Heights for hosting the Deputies.
