High schoolers raise more than $8,000 for Special Olympics Indiana

Sheridan High School (SHS) had an exciting and memorable experience at the Special Olympics Polar Plunge on Feb. 28 at Eagle Creek Park.
A group of enthusiastic students from Sheridan took part in this event, diving into the chilly waters to show their support for the Special Olympics organization. Their participation was more than just a fun activity; it was a meaningful way to raise awareness and funds.
Collectively, SHS raised more $8,000 for Special Olympics Indiana. This incredible amount was made possible by the dedication and enthusiasm of the students, teachers, and supporters who came together to fundraise for this great cause. The school’s commitment was evident in the outstanding funds they raised, demonstrating their passion for making a positive impact.
