On Tuesday, Jan. 20, Sheridan High School held another Future Fair for high school students and eighth graders.

These college and career fairs are put on each quarter for students to gain insight into the businesses, schools, and opportunities that await them.

At this quarter’s Future Fair, students had the opportunity to learn about the various career paths while interacting with the representatives from the local businesses and organizations. Through the conversations, students are able to form a personal connection and gain real-world insight into the different pathways. These experiences help bridge the gap between high school and post-graduation life while allowing students to better understand what they are capable of.

Students got to meet and make connections with the following businesses and organizations:

  • Davis Homes & Davis Mortgage
  • First Farmers Bank & Trust
  • Architectural Glass & Metal Co., Inc
  • Lennar Homes
  • Parallel Design Group
  • SKYLAKE Adventures
  • Ivy Tech Community College – Hamilton County
  • Butler, Fairman, Seufert (BF&S Civil Engineers)
  • Waitt Systems, LLC
  • ICCA Built to Succeed
  • Gradex, Inc.
  • Central Midwest Carpenters
  • Capitol Construction
  • Browning Chapman (contracting company)
  • H&N Outdoor Services, LLC

Sheridan High School and Middle School appreciates the businesses and organizations for their time, support, and willingness to invest in students by providing meaningful conversations and real-world opportunities.
