Sheridan’s boys scored a huge Senior Night win on Thursday, beating Herron 80-42 at Larry Hobbs Gymnasium.
The Blackhawks blasted through the first quarter to lead 28-6. Damon Winston and Carson Wright both scored nine points. The Achaeans came back in the second period to cut Sheridan’s lead to 34-21 by halftime, but the ‘Hawks soared through the second half, outscoring Herron 46-21.
Winston poured in 26 points for Sheridan, with Trey Page making four 3-pointers on his way to 23 points. Caleb Wright scored 12 points.
The Blackhawks are 13-4 and travel to Carroll on Friday for a Hoosier Heartland Conference game.
