Annually for the past several years the Sheridan Rotary Club, in cooperation with S & S Travel from Fort Wayne, has offered people a chance to get out and see interesting attractions across Indiana and throughout the Midwest. These bus trips range from one day to multi-day adventures. They have always been well received and this year should be no different.
June 16 kicks off this year’s bus travel season with a one-day mystery trip that promises to be fun. There will be lunch along a river, a stop for a sample of jumbo sweetness and an exciting culinary event. But best of all, it will all be a mystery which adds to the excitement. The price is $126 per person.
The big event for this year’s travel program is a four-day trip to Branson, Mo. This four-day excursion, slated for Aug. 6-9, includes lots of Branson shows, lots of Branson area attractions and lots of Branson meals in great restaurants. Not mention all the shows you can see: Sinatra & Friends, Dutton Family Show, Presley’s Country Jubilee and many more.
If you like to go to Branson to see the shows and the sights, this is the trip for you. The prices for this trip are $752 per person for double occupancy, triple occupancy for $713, $694 for quad and if you want a single room it will cost you $869.
The last trip of the year is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 9 with a trip to Springboro, Ohio, to see the musical production of Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas”. This matinee performance will also include a lunch buffet prior to the show. The price is only $129 per person.
