Sheridan referendum letter from Sheridan Town Council Members

Dear Editor:

As we move toward the May 2 referendum for Sheridan Community Schools, the Sheridan Town Council Members listed below want to express their full support for the referendum, which will allow the Sheridan Schools to obtain critical funding needed to continue down a very positive path of success for its students and everyone in Sheridan.

Passing the referendum will help to maintain a strong school district and strong academic programs. It will also allow Sheridan Schools to continue to increase its district academic and programing goals. The focus of the referendum funds will be continued excellence for the district as it looks to maintain class sizes, enhance existing and needed programs, and continue the success it has seen in graduation rates and student accomplishments.

The Town Council members listed below believe that an investment in the schools is critical and will continue to make Sheridan the great community it has always been. We encourage the residents of Sheridan to vote YES in support of the referendum.
