The Sheridan Horseshoe League will host an open tournament on Saturday.
Anyone with an interest in trying their hand at pitching horseshoes is welcome to come to the pits at Biddle Park, located at the intersection of State Roads 38 and 47 on the east side of Sheridan. The tournament, sponsored by O’Reilly Auto Parts, begins at 9 a.m. If necessary, a second session is scheduled for 1 p.m. In case of rain, the tournament will take place on Sunday.
The league was back in action Tuesday with its regular weekly competition. Results from the league will be published later this week in the Reporter.
