The Sheridan Horseshoe League is in full swing, with weekly competition every Tuesday and a handful of tournaments that will take place over the summer.
Weekly pitching takes place every Tuesday at Biddle Park, beginning around 6:15 p.m. In addition, the first of the league’s tournaments is set for Saturday, with pitching to start at 9 a.m. The tournament is sponsored by O’Reilly Auto Parts in Westfield.
The next tournament is set for July 24, with Hylant as the sponsor. The third tournament takes place on Aug. 14 and will be sponsored by Ashpaugh Electric. Both tournaments begin at 9 a.m. Rain dates for all three events will be the next day.
For all tournaments, there will be a $10 fee which goes to the prize fund. All who participate will need to be able to show and know their handicap to play.
Here are results and leaders from Week 4 action, which took place last Tuesday. Results from this week’s competition will appear next week once they are compiled.
