Sheridan High School’s FFA Chapter held its annual banquet on Wednesday, March 26. This banquet brings together students, families, and the community for an evening of celebration and recognition. This event highlighted the hard work, leadership, and dedication of the FFA members throughout the school year.
The banquet puts a spotlight on the FFA members, allowing them to showcase their skills, thus demonstrating and reflecting their commitment to the organization and the industries that FFA encompasses. The ceremony honored members who excelled in various FFA activities, including leadership contests, district events, community service projects, and the education initiatives the club sponsors.
A highlight of the evening was the recognition of students who participated in the District FFA Leadership Contest at Hamilton Heights High School in February. Sheridan FFA members received recognition in categories such as Agricultural Sales Presentation and Animal Science Demonstration. These accolades further demonstrate their knowledge and dedication to the industries.

This banquet serves as an opportunity to reflect on the chapter’s accomplishments and the impact that FFA has on these young leaders. Mementos were shared from sponsors and other leading members on how this club has shaped the young leaders.
This event emphasizes the importance of education and the lifelong skills that these students are gaining through FFA as well as demonstrating the values of leadership, service, and excellence in the agricultural industry.
