Sheridan’s girls dropped a 46-27 Hoosier Heartland Conference game at Clinton Prairie on Friday.
The Gophers led 17-3 after the first quarter and 27-8 at halftime. Prairie extended its lead to 41-15 after three quarters before the Blackhawks outscored CP 12-5 in the fourth.
Taylor Bates and Kaylie Kantz each scored six points for Sheridan.
The Blackhawks are 0-2 in the conference and 4-5 overall. Sheridan plays Monday at Lapel.
