The Sheridan girls basketball team cruised past Crawfordsville 62-31 Tuesday at Larry Hobbs Hall.
The Blackhawks led 13-4 after one quarter and 29-9 at halftime, then pulled further away in the third period, outscoring the Athenians 22-9 for a 51-18 lead. Kenzie Garner earned a double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds, and also had five steals.
Ashley Webel scored 10 points, followed by Lilly Chesney with nine rebounds and eight points. Jacquellynne Bates added six points and five steals.
Sheridan is 6-9 and will host Tri-Central on Thursday in a Hoosier Heartland Conference game that will also be the Blackhawks’ Senior Night game.
