Sheridan fire fighter needs your help

Greg Wilson is an emergency medical technician (EMT) and fire fighter with the Sheridan Fire Department (SFD). He has served the Sheridan community in this capacity for 23 years, first as a volunteer, and then as a professional.

Wilson

Greg is a husband and father of four and the son of Judy and Bill Wilson of Wilson’s Farm Market at 256th Street and U.S. 31.

Approximately four weeks ago, Greg was afflicted with a serious infection that required him to be admitted to the hospital, fighting for his life. Obviously, the financial burden of something like this can be almost insurmountable. As he continues this battle, SFD is cautiously optimistic that Greg will slowly recover and be able to return to work.

SFD sincerely appreciates any support the public can offer to Greg.

An opportunity to contribute to the Wilsons is scheduled for Saturday, April 27, when the Sheridan American Legion Post 67, 406 E. 10th St. (State Road 47) hosts a breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m., with free-will donations requested.

  1. How about setting up a Go Fund Me account so that those of us that don’t live in the area can contribute.
