Sheridan’s girls basketball team dropped a 43-28 Hoosier Heartland Conference game Friday night at Eastern.
The Comets got out to a 13-5 lead after the first quarter and outscored the Blackhawks in each subsequent period, leading 18-8 at halftime. Holly Barker led Sheridan with 12 points and seven rebounds.
Olivia Raines collected six rebounds, with Berkley Williams grabbing five. Allie Delph had four assists.
The ‘Hawks are 2-2 in the conference and 6-4 overall. They continue HHC play this afternoon at Tri-Central.
