Sheridan dropped a Hoosier Heartland conference away game to Carroll Friday, 74-41.
The Cougars, ranked No. 9 in the Class 2A Associated Press poll, outscored the Blackhawks in all four quarters, leading 13-7 after one period and 36-16 at halftime. Carroll then put in 23 points in the third quarter.
Trent DeCraene scored 18 points for Sheridan, including three 3-pointers. Parker Williams had 10 points and five rebounds.
The Blackhawks finished HHC play 2-6 and are 9-9 overall. Sheridan plays its next game Feb. 18 at Western Boone.
