Sheridan Community Schools Superintendent Dave Mundy will deliver the annual State of the Schools address at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27 in the Sheridan High School Auditorium. This event allows community members, parents, and staff to hear directly from district leadership about the future of Sheridan schools.
This year’s address has been scheduled later than usual to incorporate and evaluate the outcomes of the recent election regarding the town and township merger. Dr. Mundy will provide an analysis of how the merger will impact the schools, including the opportunities it presents for growth and collaboration.
Key topics to be discussed include:
- The impact of the town/township merger on the schools
- Projected growth of the district
- Short- and long-range planning goals in areas such as facilities, finances, and academics
Dr. Mundy emphasized the importance of engaging the community in shaping the district’s future.
“We are eager to discuss not only where we are today but where we’re headed as a district,” he said. “This is a chance to share our vision and hear directly from our parents and community.”
Attendees will have ample opportunity to ask questions and participate in what promises to be an interactive and informative evening.
Make plans to join the conversation and help chart the course for the future of Sheridan Community Schools. The district looks forward to welcoming everyone to this important event.
