Sheridan boys drop close game to Faith Christian

The Sheridan boys basketball team dropped a close game at Faith Christian on Tuesday, 62-58.
The host Eagles took a 17-10 lead on the Blackhawks after the first quarter. Sheridan played even with Faith for the next three periods, cutting slightly into the Eagles’ lead by halftime. Faith Christian led 29-24 at the break.
The ‘Hawks got within 38-36 with 1:41 left in the third, but Faith was able to get back up 41-36 by the end of the period. Sheridan got within three with just over 30 seconds left before the Eagles held on to get the win.
Kyle Eden had another solid game, with 25 points and seven rebounds. Ethan Moistner added 13 points. Keenan Warren pulled seven rebounds, while Cayden Hunter collected five rebounds. Corbin Murray made four steals.
Sheridan is 6-6 and returns to Larry Hobbs Gym tonight to play Clinton Central. This Hoosier Heartland Conference game is varsity only and tips off at 6:30 p.m.
