My name is Sheldon Barnes, and I am a long-time resident and active member of the Carmel community. I am proud to announce my candidacy for the Carmel City Council.
I have a strong track record of community involvement and a deep understanding of Carmel’s issues. As an Information Technology professional, business owner, Realtor, and Army veteran, I will bring a unique perspective and valuable skills to the City Council.
I believe every citizen should have a voice in the decisions that affect their daily lives. As a City Council member, I will work tirelessly to ensure that the needs and concerns of our residents are heard and addressed.
My campaign platform focuses on keeping Carmel one of the best places to live, work, and play. These include:
- Crime and public safety
- Infrastructure and transportation
- Economic development and job creation
- Education and schools
- Housing and zoning
- Environmental and sustainability issues
- Quality of life and community engagement
- City services and government transparency
I believe that by addressing these issues, Carmel can continue to be a great place to live, work and raise a family.
I am excited to be a part of the democratic process and to have the opportunity to serve my community as a City Council member. I look forward to meeting and talking with residents throughout the campaign season and earning their support on Election Day.
