The Sheridan Public Library will play host to a Versiti Blood Center blood donation drive from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22. The blood drive will take place in the Community Room of the library, located at 103 W. 1st St.
Blood is an essential medicine that cannot be manufactured. Whether you are looking for a way to give back to the community or support a friend fighting an illness, blood donation is a generous and vital gift.
