There are still events happening this month, so relax and celebrate America before the holidays.

America the Beautiful
Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
The Palladium

“America the Beautiful” is dedicated to celebrating the rich tapestry of American life and music. Lincoln Portrait, Aaron Copland’s renowned composition, will be the centerpiece of the evening and will be narrated by internationally acclaimed soprano Angela Brown.

Montgomery Variations by Margaret Bonds, the first African American soloist to perform with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra as a 20-year-old pianist, will also be featured. Closing the concert will be Antonin Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9, From the New World, one of the most recognizable and beloved pieces of the mid-20th century.
