The Westfield wrestling team scored a dominating win over Zionsville 51-18 Thursday at the Eagles’ gym.
The Shamrocks won 10 of the 14 matches, including seven by fall. Winners by pin were Bryson Collier, Dylan Driver, Carson Eldred, Milo Merkel, Kyle Saez, Ryan Mahoney and Dakota Arvin.
Westfield traded wins to start the dual, but freshman Austin McClure sparked the Shamrocks beating last year’s regional champ. The ‘Rocks went on to win six in a row and nine of the last 10.
Westfield is back on the mat on Thursday at the two-day Mooresville Holiday Classic.
