Westfield won a tough road game at Harrison Tuesday, 48-42.
The Shamrocks led by 13-12 after one quarter, with Trey Buchanan making a pair of 3-pointers. Westfield then pulled ahead 27-17 by halftime. The Raiders’ defense then took over in the third period, allowing the ‘Rocks just one free throw. Harrison led 31-28 after three quarters, but the Shamrocks got it together in the fourth, pouring in 20 points to pick up the victory.
Alex Romack scored 19 points, taking over the game in the fourth quarter by scoring 10 points. Seth LaRavia also had a big fourth, throwing in two 3s; he finished the game with 10 points. Buchanan added eight points.
Westfield is 11-6 and plays Friday at Hamilton Heights, the second of three road games this week for the Shamrocks.
