Westfield assistant football coach Josh Miracle was named as the Indiana recipient of the High School Broyles Award.

This award is given annually to the top high school assistant coach from each participating state, as selected by each state’s coaching associations.

The 2023 class is the largest class to date, taking the Broyles Award closer to the goal of celebrating excellence in assistant coaching in all 50 states. All 2023 winners are invited to the High School Broyles Award Honoree Dinner to be held on Sunday, December 3 in Little Rock. This event precedes the annual collegiate Broyles Award ceremony.

In 2018, the Broyles Award added to its 25-year tradition of honoring the nation’s best collegiate assistant football coaches through the creation of the High School Broyles Award. This award honors the top high school assistant football coach in every participating state, projecting their excellence onto the national stage.

The Broyles Award was created in 1996 recognizing Coach Frank Broyles’ legacy of selecting and developing great assistants during his almost two decades as head coach at Arkansas.
