Shakespeare in the Park opens auditions

Open auditions for A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be held at Logan Street Sanctuary, 1274 Logan St., Noblesville, on Sunday, May 21 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday, May 22 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Auditioners should come prepared to read from the script and present a one-minute monologue or share a personal anecdote. All 18 roles are open; 5 female and 13 male, but some male roles, including Puck, could be cast non-gender.

This year’s production, directed by Mark Tumey, will be performed at the new First Merchants Pavilion at Federal Hill Commons in Noblesville.
