Dear Editor:
I wish to thank and commend The Reporter for extending the privilege to me to present uncomfortable facts about Carmel in letters to the editor.
The Current in Carmel management bent to pressure from City Hall when my letters and, later, Non-Mayor opinion column in that weekly struck too many nerves.
After being patronized, deceived and lied to by Carmel’s elected officials, I reverted to my old newsman days at The Associated Press, applied a few reporting skills and found lots of data that strikes even more nerves.
The First Amendment is alive and thriving in Hamilton County thanks to The Reporter.
