The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is looking for highly motivated individuals to fill positions in several areas around the public safety compound.
The Jail Division continues to hire Corrections Officers to fill the soon-to-open jail expansion. Test scores and applications for the next round of hiring must be submitted no later than Feb. 15. Interested applicants should register for a test date/time at empco.net/ind and specify test results be forwarded to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. After the test is complete, download and submit the application found at hamiltoncounty.in.gov/555/County-Jail.

The Juvenile Services Center is looking for part-time Youth Care Specialists to work with status offenders in the Shelter Care Unit. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age with no felony convictions along with other minimum requirements. Applications for Reserve Deputies are being accepted with a Reserve Academy tentatively scheduled for later in 2019. Reserve Deputies are unpaid volunteers who serve to augment the full-time staff at the Sheriff’s Office.
