On Thursday, the Mike Braun for Indiana campaign announced that seven prosecutors from across the state have endorsed him for governor.
Braun said he believes Indiana needs prosecutors who will enforce laws instead of “these George Soros-supported progressive prosecutors who pick which laws to enforce based on their ideology.”
“I am proud to have the endorsement of prosecutors across the state, as they are the individuals tasked with enforcing our laws, standing up for victims, and putting criminals behind bars,” Braun said. “If we want to reduce crime, it starts with prosecutors who are tough on repeat criminals and willing to enforce our laws, and I will make sure these prosecutors have the resources to do their job.”
“As county prosecutor, I appreciate Mike Braun’s tough-on-crime public safety plan,” Decatur County Prosecutor Nate Harter said. “Additionally, Mike has demonstrated that he understands the link between a porous border and the drug epidemic our local communities face. Further, Braun is committed to making sure that prosecutors’ offices like mine have the state resources we need to protect the public effectively and to seek justice for victims.”
Former President Donald Trump, the Indiana State Police Alliance, and the National Troopers Coalition have also endorsed Braun.
