Setting up sobriety checkpoints just got easier

The Hamilton County Traffic Safety Partnership recently received a new trailer to use at sobriety checkpoints. The group is made up of the Carmel, Noblesville, Fishers, and Westfield Police Departments as well as Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and Indiana State Police. They work together to increase the usage of seat belts, combat aggressive driving, and decrease impaired driving. The new trailer was funded by the Criminal Justice Institute and will be used to transport the cones, signage and lighting needed for sobriety check points.
