During the week of May 25, U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) will visit eight Indiana cities, including Carmel, on his RESTART Tour to promote his proposal which will provide needed support to Indiana job creators.
Senator Young introduced the RESTART Act on Thursday – a bipartisan bill to improve the Paycheck Protection Program and provide additional assistance to the hardest-hit businesses.
The Carmel stop will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 29 at Woody’s Library Restaurant, 40 E. Main St.
“Congress has acted with unprecedented speed and boldness to ensure Hoosiers get a paycheck during this pandemic,” said Young. “But it has become clear that we need to do more for the businesses hit hardest by forced closures. The RESTART Act will address a needed Paycheck Protection Program fix and create a new loan program to provide funding to jump-start our hardest-hit businesses for the remainder of 2020.”
