Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.
“I always look forward to meeting with students from my district who have taken time out of their week to come learn about state government during our legislative session,” Sen. Buck said. “These students get to see firsthand how the legislative process works for Hoosiers all around the state and in our local community. I encourage local schools and parents to take advantage of this unique educational experience.”
Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
