Seeger pulls away from Blackhawks

Sheridan’s season came to an end on Tuesday, as the Sectional 38 host Blackhawks fell to Seeger 45-34 at Hobbs Memorial Gymnasium.
Sheridan gave the Patriots a good battle in the game. The ‘Hawks trailed 15-11 after the first quarter, but played a solid defensive second period to tie the game at 21-21 by halftime. Sheridan was still within 31-30 after three periods, but Seeger pulled away in the fourth, allowing the ‘Hawks only four points.
Berkley Williams hit two 3-pointers on her way to eight points. Taylor Bates collected eight rebounds, while Allie Delph pulled five rebounds.
Sheridan finished its season 8-14.
