The Hamilton County Artists’ Association recently juried in seven new artists and a photographer to our organization.

While our regular members are having an exhibition at Noblesville City Hall this month, our new members are on display at our gallery at 195 S. 5th St., Noblesville:

  • Denese Stachowiak is an oil painter who is inspired by nature’s natural beauty and her work reflects this bright and colorful paintings.
  • Dawn Michaels is a mixed media artist who uses different techniques to build up the surface for a 3-D effect. Her paintings are in a way like sculptures.
  • Heather Ray Boelke adds a cheerful and whimsical style to her work and her artwork is cheerful and uplifting. She also teaches classes right here at the HCAA.
  • Caroline Hays is an art teacher at Noblesville High School and knows a lot about art. Her favorite is abstract art and she has her own unique style.
  • Sue Eckl is an artistic photographer who painstakingly comes up with these striking compositions.
  • Jaclyn Schillinger is an artist who uses oils acrylics and colored pencils and puts much small details in her creations.
  • Michael Levine is a still life painter whose real-life paintings are almost touchable. His subtle style and choice of colors gives his paintings a distinctive feel.

Please come by for a visit and be “enlightened.”
