The United States Air Force Band of Mid-America’s Liberty Clarinet Quartet will perform a series of public concerts at locations in Indiana this month.
The four-member ensemble will perform at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 10 at Fishers Public Library, 5 Municipal Drive, and at noon on Wednesday, April 12 at the Indianapolis Artsgarden, 110 W. Washington St. Admission to these performances is free and open to the public, and no tickets are required. These are family-friendly, all-ages events.
While visiting Indiana, the ensemble will also work with music students at Avon Middle School, Hamilton Southeastern High School, Purdue University, and members of the Indianapolis Youth Orchestra. Additionally, they will make appearances on both WISH-TV Channel 8 and WRTV Channel 6 in Indianapolis and will perform for residents at the Westminster Village North Assisted Living Center in Indianapolis.
The Liberty Clarinet Quartet was recently featured in the Band of Mid-America’s 2021 Spirit of the Season holiday television program, which aired on over 30 TV stations across the Midwest. The holiday special won the NATAS Mid-America Regional Emmy for Arts & Entertainment Long-Form Content.
The U.S. Air Force Band of Mid-America represents the professionalism and excellence found every day throughout the Air Force. All musicians are active-duty Airmen stationed at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.
Oh I saw that show on TV at Christmas and they were so good! Definitely going to try to drive over and check it out, glad they are coming to Indiana!
