You’re invited to the Palladium in Carmel at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17 for a screening and book signing event celebrating the classic 1950 MGM movie musical Summer Stock, which stars Gene Kelly and newly inducted Songbook Hall of Fame member Judy Garland.

In addition to viewing the film on the Palladium’s HD-LED video screen, audiences will have the opportunity to hear from visiting film historians David Fantle and Tom Johnson, who explore the making of the movie in their latest book C’mon, Get Happy: The Making of Summer Stock. The book will be on sale prior to the screening thanks to the participation of MacArthur Books. Doors will open early at 5:30 p.m. for signing and meet-and-greet opportunities with the authors.

General admission tickets are now on sale for $10. Call (317) 843-3800 or email Tickets@TheCenterPresents.org for discount information for students and seniors, group sales or accessible seating needs.
