Scarlet G. Ammerman

March 4, 1955 – November 8, 2021

Scarlet G. Ammerman, 66, Fishers, passed away on November 8, 2021. She was born on March 4, 1955, in Noblesville to the late Vernon L. and Myrtle J. Ammerman.

Scarlet was the best Partner, Sister, Aunt, and Friend that anyone could ask for. She adored her nieces, nephews, and pets dearly. Scarlet was enjoying retirement after many years of working for the Town of Fishers. She was an avid gardener, shopper, and loved going to the casino. She also loved to cook and buy gifts for everyone. She had the biggest heart, and we will all miss her! All who knew her loved her.

Scarlet is survived by her partner, Jennifer Kaim; sisters, Midred O’Bryhim, Dorothy Francis, and Rosie Gunn (Steve); sister-in-law, Julia Porter; brother-in-law, Jim Kaim (Sheri); nieces, Marissa O’Bryhim (Rich), Stephanie Bledsoe (Michael), Nicole Metzner (James), Ashley Howard (George); nephews, Shawn O’Bryhim (Angie), Christopher O’Bryhim (Mar-dee), Tony Renner (Bethany), Brad Renner, Jacob Porter, Kevin Ammerman, Anthony Ammerman (Ashley), Michael Kaim (Adrienne), and Matthew Kaim (Kierstin); along with many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Terry Ammerman; sister, Sue Ammerman; and nephew, Matthew Ammerman.

The visitation for Scarlet will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, with service following at 5 p.m., at Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Road, Westfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society for Hamilton County, 10501 Hague Road, Fishers, IN 46038; or to Riley Children’s Hospital, 30 S. Meridian St., Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46204.

    Jenny and all . . . I’m so very sorry that you have lost Scarlet. What a fun, funny, dear friend she was to me. God bless and comfort you all.
