Savor the last of summer with Carmel Symphony Orchestra & Super Diamond

Continue celebrating summer as the Carmel Symphony Orchestra (CSO) presents Super Diamond: A Neil Diamond Tribute at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29 at The Palladium.

Super Diamond has performed numerous shows with symphony orchestras around the country such as San Diego Symphony, Grand Rapids Symphony, Charlotte Symphony, Tucson Symphony, Knoxville Symphony, and Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, just to name a few. During these shows, Super Diamond performs Neil Diamond’s repertoire with full orchestration, often with renowned conductors. Founding Super Diamond band member Rama Kolesnikow also serves as a conductor for symphony performances and will be conducting with the CSO. In 2023, Super Diamond celebrated its 30th anniversary with sold-out shows is San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Diego, and elsewhere.

Be sure to come to the lobby before the show for special sparkling activities.

  • 6 to 6:30 p.m.: CSO String Quartet to deliver a sparkly performance featuring a blend of pop and classical including Rihanna’s Diamonds (as heard on the newest season of the Netflix hit show Bridgerton), The Beatles’ Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, and excerpts from Haydn’s Sunrise, Quartet in B-flat Major, Op. 76
  • 6:30 p.m.: Champagne Toast
  • 6:35 to 6:45 p.m.: Carmel High School’s premier string quartet, MusiConnect, will perform
