“Sharing Player of the Game honors are a pair of sophomores,” said Blackhawks coach Kurtis Olsan. “Katie Cuevas played keeper for the first time this year and did an outstanding job in the net. Jensyn Walker played tirelessly as a left midfielder and headed a shot off of the crossbar and also fired a shot off of the right post.”

“The depth on this year’s team was highlighted Saturday as almost the entire roster played significant minutes in the two games played within a 12-hour window,” said Greyhounds coach Frank Dixon. “The girls played some of their best defensive soccer of the season holding Cathedral to two shots (one on goal) and Fishers to nine shots (three on goal).  While the offense wasn’t as efficient as we would like in putting shots on goal, we did create some great chances.  We just need to test the opponent’s goalkeeper more often.”
