Sandra “Sandi” Mae Frazer, 82, died on Oct. 27, 2020, in Noblesville. She was born Feb. 7, 1938, in Indianapolis to Dorothy (Grinstead) and Lorraine Frazer, who preceded her in death.
Sandi grew up in Indianapolis and then West Lafayette, where she graduated from high school in 1956. She attended Purdue University and was a huge Boilermaker fan. She earned an associate’s degree from Ball State University. She helped start and was co-owner of Snelling Real Estate in Noblesville. She also owned and operated The Children’s Centre in Noblesville, and continued her real estate career after moving to Speedway. She enjoyed her “secret garden,” spending time with her grandchildren and family, and traveling. She was a member of the Speedway Lions Club and the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors, and served on the board of directors for the Arthritis Foundation, Indiana Chapter.
She is survived by her four daughters, Becky (Tim) Schroer, Brownsburg; Cathy (Wayne) Milligan, Lapel; Jacci (Jeff) Brown, Salem, S.C.; and Jenni Snelling, Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by infant daughter, Cindy. She had nine grandchildren: Emily Pyle, Dustin Milligan and Dale Milligan, who preceded her in death; Jackson, Alexander and Madison Brown; and Isabelle, Samuel and Elena Espay. She is also survived by a brother, David (Rita) Frazer; sister, Sheryl (Ron) Doerr, Hobart, and sister-in-law Sandy Frazer, Westfield, as well as several nieces and nephews. Her brothers Donald and Duane Frazer preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her stepfather, Elmer “Lee” Corder.
A private family memorial will be held at Indiana Funeral Care, Indianapolis. A celebration of life will be planned later. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, Indiana Chapter, or the Arthritis Foundation, Indiana Chapter.
