Sandra K. Hasch, 69, Indianapolis, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday July 11, 2018 at Community North Hospital. Sandy was born February 4, 1949 in Indianapolis to Bette (Mitchell) and Hugh Singer. She married Kenneth (Kenny) Hasch on June 21, 1969 in Indianapolis.
Sandy worked for the Indiana General Assembly Senate as a Legislative Assistant for 40 years, retiring in 2012. She was most proud to work for Senator Jack Guy, Senator Steve Johnson and Senator Luke Kenley.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Ellen) Hasch and Jennifer (Terry) Socks; eight granddaughters, Mikhala Hasch, Lexi Padgett, Meg Hasch, Kate Hasch, Lauren Hasch, Grace Hasch, Ally Hasch and Eva Hasch; and sister-in-law Nancy Otsuka.
Sandy was preceded in death by her husband Kenny of 45 years, her parents and step-father Thomas (Tom) Carter.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the same location. She will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
