Sam Mishelow has been appointed to the Westfield Fire Department Merit Board of Commissioners, selected by Mayor Scott Willis and the Westfield City Council.
Mishelow brings over two decades of professional experience and a strong commitment to community service to this role.
As a member of the board, Mishelow will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of personnel actions within the department. His duties will include reviewing hiring decisions, promotions, and disciplinary actions, thereby contributing to the safety and well-being of the Westfield community.
Mishelow has been an active and integral part of the Hamilton County community serving on various boards and committees. He is a current Riverview Health Board member and plays a significant role in the OneZone Chamber of Commerce as a member of the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and State Advocacy Committee. Additionally, he serves as a board member for the Indiana Selective Service Commission, appointed by Governor Eric Holcomb.
Mishelow’s extensive background in leadership and community engagement makes him well-suited for this position. Currently serving as the Director of Client Development at Meyer Najem, he has demonstrated a steadfast dedication to his professional career and has earned a reputation for excellence in his field.
