Just announced at Feinstein’s . . .
Join the folks at Feinstein’s on Saturday, Oct. 4 as they serve up an unforgettable night of stories, songs, and laughs as actor Drew Powell joins Tom Griswold for a heartfelt Hoosier-to-Hollywood journey.
Powell is a beloved Hoosier actor. During a captivating and intimate evening, he will sit down with legendary radio personality Tom Griswold for a one-of-a-kind Q&A, interspersed with songs and personal anecdotes.
Born in Noblesville and raised in Lebanon, Powell’s journey from small-town Hoosier to a recognizable face in Hollywood is a testament to passion and perseverance. Best known for his roles as Hoss Cartwright in Ponderosa and the formidable Butch Gilzean/Cyrus Gold/Solomon Grundy in FOX’s Gotham, and now as the disgruntled patient Doug Driscoll in the HBO Max hit show The Pitt, he has built a diverse career across film and television. But before the bright lights of Los Angeles, there was the heartland.
In this special event, Powell will share untold stories from his childhood in Indiana, offering a glimpse into the formative years that shaped the man he is today. He’ll delve into the challenges and triumphs of breaking into the competitive world of acting and what it’s truly like to navigate the unique landscape of Hollywood. For an extra treat, he will share his musical talents, performing songs that hold special meaning to his life and journey.
Guiding the conversation will be the insightful and engaging Tom Griswold, co-host of the nationally syndicated The Bob & Tom Show. With his signature wit and decades of experience interviewing countless celebrities, he will ensure a dynamic and entertaining discussion, drawing out the untold stories and candid reflections that only a true friend and fellow Hoosier can.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to connect with Powell on a deeply personal level, hear him sing, and discover the fascinating path that led him from Indiana’s fields to Hollywood’s bright lights.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. for dinner and drinks, with the show beginning at 7:30 p.m.
